SENIOR MANAGEMENT

President of TÜBİTAK is nominated by the Science Board from distinguished scientists, recognized in the fields of natural sciences and engineering, and is appointed by the President of Turkey upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister. The President of TÜBİTAK chairs the Science Board and manages the Council pursuant to the decisions reached by the Science Board.

Vice Presidents are recommended by the President of TÜBİTAK, from scientists with similar qualifications and are appointed by the Prime Minister. Currently, there are two Vice-Presidents: Prof. M. Arif ADLI is responsible of academic and industrial research funding, and also in charge of scientific human resources funding programs; and Vice-Presidents Dr. Kıvanç DİNÇER is responsible of  coordination of centers and institutes, and international cooperation; General Secretary Ogün BAHADIR is in charge of human resources, financial affairs and health services of the Council in addition to the Secretariat Office of TÜBA (Turkish Academy of Sciences).
