Fellowships will be awarded within the framework of the agreement signed between the Government of Turkey and the European Space Agency concerning cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.

Within the framework of the agreement signed between the Government of Turkey and the European Space Agency concerning cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, one-year fellowship will be awarded to young researchers of Turkish nationality who wish to perform postdoctoral research in space sciences.

ESA Space Science Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is aimed at providing young scientists holding a PhD degree with the means of performing research in space science.

Candidates not holding a PhD yet can also apply for the programmme but they must provide evidence of receiving their degree before starting the fellowship.
